We have been overwhelmed with the messages of thanks and support since launching Living Hockey, and are extremely grateful for all feedback (positive and constructive) which is consistently reviewed and considered as we continue to develop our camp programme. Below are a handful of the messages we have received from players, parents and hosts of our recent camps.
If you would like to give us any feedback or have thoughts/suggestions as to how we can further improve our camps, please drop us a line at info@livinghockey.org.
In my position as Head Coach at Fareham Hockey Club I have been very impressed with the sessions that Brett and the team at Living Hockey have delivered. The power of exposing youngsters to excellence should never be underestimated and when a coaching package is being delivered by some of the best players in the world the response from the kids is unbelievable. We are very keen at Fareham to continue growing the relationship with Living Hockey and this is echoed by the growing numbers of children and parents that are supporting these events. In conclusion if there is a Living Hockey camp going on near you then you would be well advised to book your youngster on it, you will not be disappointed.

Living Hockey is a great place to learn in a friendly environment, where you don’t have to fear making mistakes in front of your friends. This can make you push yourself so much harder, by trying and learning things that you would never attempt in a normal training session or match otherwise.

My kids really enjoyed the 2 day camp. You and your team have managed to get several points over to them that I have been trying for a couple of years… I also think the short games have given them greater awareness on the pitch. Thanks.

Last summer I attended a Living Hockey Camp at my own club Purley Walcountians. Normally I have to go to Surbiton, so I was happy I didn’t have to get up early. The coaches were Ratman, Andy Cornick, James Tindall and Brett Garrard. I learnt many new skills and they had a speed gun, which measured how hard I hit the ball. It’s something I have to work on. I really enjoyed the course, so I hope they come back.

Just wanted to thank you for the excellent GK coaching on Tuesday. (My daughter) thoroughly enjoyed the day and I think was in awe of the skills your coaches demonstrated! She has been out in her GK kit practising every day since with her older brother, it’s just a shame that there will not be an opportunity for her to apply the skills until September.

It was awesome to be coached by Ratman, Brett and James Tindall. They make everything look so easy and really helped me to improve.

James really enjoyed his time with you again. I was impressed again with the set up and I like that it is not simply babysitting with hockey sticks, but that you take all ages seriously as hockey players and coach them properly. I am sure that we will be signing up for the next set of Oxford days.

What I really liked about the living hockey was that I could speak to the England hockey players and get their views on things which was a change from just learning skills. There was a lot of work on hitting, which has really helped my game. I enjoyed using the speed gun to see how hard I could ht the ball. Also I think the balance of having fun and learning new skills is good as well.

Thanks for this. (My son) had a great day. I was impressed with the set up, standard and enthusiasm of the coaches and the player to coach ratio. We will certainly be looking out for the next Living Hockey sessions in Oxford.

Well done Living Hockey, another outstanding camp for all standards of player…fun all day and lots of hard work too. Have you set a date for your next camp?
Parent (Surbiton Camp, February 2011)
We would all like to say Thanks to you and your crew for a great two days of hockey at Headington. My kids had a fantastic time, learnt a lot and are even more fired up about hockey. I was also very appreciative of the time you took talking to me about the camp and allowing me to observe the first day.

I would really recommend the Living Hockey Camps to any junior players. Where else would you get top level coaching from International players at the very peak of their game?
Parent (Surbiton Camp, October 2011)
I know everyone likes positive feedback but in this case it is really justified. Both (of my children) had a fantastic time at your hockey camp and I believe learnt a lot and certainly seem more confident. Many thanks and please keep us on your mailing list.

I really enjoyed the video analysis which helped me improve my aerials, and all the International players were very helpful in teaching me new skills.

(My son) said that it was the best hockey camp he had ever been too so thank you.

(My daughter) had a great day and learnt a great deal… Please could you keep me on your distribution list and let me know of any other training days in the area that you run?
