“We don’t just coach it, we live it” is one of Living Hockey’s mottos which came from a long weekend in Holland. We also came up with “don’t get lost on the Eindhoven ring road” (Brett), “Eat as many ribs as you can man!” (Taeke) and “Is that my plane taking off?” (Todd) but that’s not important right now.

What is important is the fact that we know that as we live hockey every day, so do loads of others, many of whom keep the game going but never get the recognition or support they deserve. And that’s why with hockey having been so good to us, we are always really keen to help with coaches as much as we are with the players who come to our events.

Whether that be by just joining in and learning from the coaches at camps or through organised seminars and discussions we can host for clubs or schools, the message is that what we’ve been lucky to learn isn’t meant to be a secret and we are only too happy to help out with anyone keen to understand any aspect of skill development, training methods or strategy.
